A little about Becca

First let me start by saying, I'm a wife to Andy and a mom to Tyler, also the proud slave to two horses, Dillon and Blue, and one great dog, Braun. I have a passion for photography that just won't quit. I believe there is always more to learn and I take the time to continue doing so, through both reading and classes. When I'm not spending time with my family, editing pictures, at my full time job, or sleeping, you can find me at the barn. A little about my gear: I shoot with all high quality Nikon ditigal equipment. I have a main and back up camera, so no worries there. I also have off camera flash and some great lenses, everything I need to capture all those special moments. I edit all my pictures using my trusty Mac, Adobe Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS4. A little about this site: Instead of having both a blog and a website I have found an option that combines both into one. Hampton, VA Family Portraits ~ The James Family

This past Friday I received a call from Erika Ross of Urban Peace Photography.  She needed a favor, she was sick and couldn’t make it to her scheduled shoot, so she asked me to fill in.  It was nice to be trusted with something important like that.  So after my in-laws graciously agreed to watch Tyler I was off to Hampton.  Stephanie never went to her High School Prom, and so when her son entered her same high school she decided when he went to prom, she was going to.  Here is the families pre-prom shoot.
