Virginia Beach Engagement Photography ~ Cora and Derrick

Posted on April 5, 2011

I’ve known Cora for over 10 years now, which made it so that when she came to me asking about engagement photos I was shocked. How on earth did that happen? Needless to say I figured it out, so we spent some time planning and arranging schedules and I finally got to meet Derrick. We had a great time at Munden Point Park, they also brought along their dog Peanut for a few “family” shots.

Suffolk Engagement Photographer ~ Joe and Ashley

Posted on March 26, 2011

I had been looking forward to working with Joe and Ashley for some time, their engagment was a few (ahem, ummmm 10) years in the making, so needless to say I was very happy for my friends. Yes, friends! Joe was one of Andy’s groomsmen and Ashley was a high school friend of Andy’s, she also did my makeup for my wedding. When Ashely asked me about photographing their wedding I had to stop myself from doing a happy dance, okay well, I may have not completely stopped myself, but that’s another story. We managed to squeeze this session in just over a month before the wedding, which means shortly you will be seeing their amazing (if I do say so myself) wedding photos. We spent a couple of hours walking around downtown Suffolk for this session. Downtown Suffolk is pretty cool place to shoot, lots of older, interesting buildings, neat signs (see below), and interesting architecture.

Norfolk Engagement Photography ~ Caitlin and Ryan

Caitlin and Ryan are high school sweethearts, college sweethearts too. I had a great time with them walking around Waterside in Downtown Norfolk. I have to say that I am very much so looking forward to their wedding this July. From everything Caitlin has shared with me it’s going to be pretty awesome, check back in July for the rest of their photographic story.

Newport News, VA Wedding Photography ~ Leala and Brian’s Engagement

Posted on January 27, 2010

I first met Leala at a bridal show back in September. I’m am so glad I had the chance to really talk with her before the day was through. Brian is a Newport News Firefighter, and like pretty much every fireman I’ve met he’s really fun, Leala and Brian together were lots of fun. The time we spent together was filled with laughter and smiles. I am looking forward to ya’ll wedding in April! Click here to see their full gallery

Williamsburg, VA Wedding Photographer ~ Kristen and Jeremy Engaged!

Posted on December 3, 2009

I’ve always had a love for history, Virginia history is my most favorite (okay so grammer not so much a strong point) Colonial Williamsburg for me is like Wonderland for Alice. The old buildings, the cool grounds, the gardens, more gardens, and more gardens. It’s all just awe inspiring to me. Hopefully Kristen and Jeremy didn’t get too annoyed at my giddiness, there I go with the grammer again. Anyways, here are some of my favorites from Kristen and Jeremy’s fall engagement session in Colonial Williamsburg. I am looking forward to their wedding on the 19th!

They are so sweet together and always laughing, which makes me smile
