Emerald Isle North Carolina Wedding Photography ~ Tami and Brandon
Posted on October 15, 2010
Tami and Brandon were married on the beach, that’s not unusual to see in Southeast VA, but this beach was just a bit different. Tami and Brandon shared their vows on a pretty little beach in coastal North Carolina. You may remember seeing these two before here when Tami’s sister Cherish married Jeff. I have to say it was pretty awesome to be able to see this whole thing come together. To be chosen by a couple as their photographer is a big deal, to then be chosen for another family members wedding, it’s just amazing, makes me fell like I’m doing something right. I was told pretty early on that the two weddings would be very different, Cherish and Jeff has a traditional event, where Tami and Brandon, has a relaxed Morocan themed one. I was so very pleased with all the images from this wedding, it was hard to narrow it down, I still ended up with over 40 for you ya’ll to peruse. Enjoy, comment, send your friends!
Tami’s beautiful dress, not the typical beach wedding dress, which made me like it all the more

When you can’t get flowers in the color you want, you make them that way, kinda cool huh? The ring belonged to Tami’s dad.

While girls get all beautified.. guys play ping pong, oh the story of our lives

My kind of wedding shoes

This is the decked path to get from the cocktail/reception site to the beach ceremony site… yes, it’s really that long!

Tami was so cute when she looked at herself all put together in the mirror, made me smile

He’s taken ladies… sorry

I love her smile

Tami’s nephew walked her down the aisle

Cherish

Love this!

Girls just wanna have fun (they asked for this one!)

Bam!

First dance!

Cherish and Jeff are going to be parents in Jan.

I think you will have to agree they are going to be fun parents

Tami with her mom, Donna, Donna is an event planner, this is the second event I have see from her, she’s amazing.

Virginia Beach Wedding Photography ~ Oceanfront Hilton ~ Kat and Brian

This wedding was held on a lovely spring day down in Virginia Beach at the Hilton. There were so many things to love about that hotel, lots of cool seating, it was bright and fun, and the food was amazing! I’m pretty sure I managed to break my toe by opening a door on into it, not one of my smarter moments, but life went on, with a little bit of a stutter in my step. Since I was second shooting for this wedding I got to spend a lot of time with details, so this post is going to be all about the details.. well, almost all about the details, I have a few people shots I couldn’t resist throwing in. John Cachero was in charge this day, I’ve seen all his awesome shots, you should go look too.

Norfolk Wedding Photography ~ Norfolk Botanical Gardens ~ Leala and Brian

Leala and Brian were married on a beautiful spring day at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. They chose the Renaissance Court for their ceremony and I can’t begin to tell you how beautiful the light was that April day, you’ll see it in the pictures. My trusty second shooter for this wedding was John Cachero. John and I talked about was how many little moments there were throughout the day, it was wonderful to be able to capture them. I have to say that one of the great aspects of having your ceremony and reception at the same location is the extra time given for pictures. We had so much fun working our way towards the reception shooting at different places we had scouted out ahead of time. Here are some of my favorites of the day.

John and I both had so much fun celebrating with ya’ll. I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Best wishes,
Becca

Virginia Beach Baby Photographer ~ Justyce!

The first time I met Justyce he was just a day old, and he was adorable. As he has grown he had gotten cuter and cuter. It was hot this day and Justyce just wasn’t really into our shoot, but after much effort Jessica managed to get him to play along. As you scroll through the pictures you’ll see him getting happier till finally you get a peek at his award winning smile. These pictures were taken in my parents beautiful back yard, we originally planned on shooting at Princess Anne Park, but I texted Jess and said, hey my parents back yard is beautiful and more private, you want to go there? My persuading worked. I hope you enjoy a few pictures of this cute little man.
